Online Fabric Monitoring

Functions: Mounted on a transversely movable trolley beam (capable of full-width traversal), it supports continuous online monitoring of fabric operating status. These measurement data provide curve and trend information on the fabric’s moisture content and water permeability, which help improve fabric performance and paper quality. It can share the same beam with the high-pressure fabric cleaning system, adopting microwave detection technology to measure the moisture content of the felt based on changes in dielectric constant caused by variations in water content within the fabric. The probe acquires these data through contact with the fabric, and its contact surface is covered with ceramics to ensure long-term measurement accuracy. It provides targeted guidance for cleaning operations and enables optimal adjustment of the pressure between the felt and press rolls, thereby achieving the best dewatering effect of the press felt.

Through online measurement of felt water permeability, the most accurate data can be obtained at any time, allowing the water permeability to be adjusted to the optimal value of approximately 400 ml/min.
