Steam Heater Intelligent Steam Box System
Operating Principle:
Before the paper web enters the nip, the treated saturated steam is sprayed onto the surface of the paper web. As the temperature of the paper web rises, the viscosity and surface tension of the water it contains decrease, and the fluidity increases, enabling the paper web to achieve better dewatering effect when passing through the nip. Precise steam servo valves combined with optimized steam injection holes improve the cross-machine profile quality.
The steam box can control the moisture profile, increase the paper sheet temperature, and improve the surface tension, thereby enhancing the dewatering efficiency of the paper sheet in the press section. ✨
The steam box forms a sealed area to improve efficiency. The set values of the steam profile are derived from the quality control system and are automatically adjusted based on the measured moisture profile. The steam control valve makes corresponding adjustments according to the set values, which are realized by means of an electric telescopic mechanism.
Independent control valves and screw mechanisms regulate the steam zone, and condensate water is discharged through both ends of the steam box.
